Mukharbind

Mukharbind Mandir in Govardhan is a revered temple dedicated to the sacred "Mukharavind" (Lotus Face) of Giriraj Govardhan. Devotees believe that worshipping here is equal to performing the entire Govardhan Parikrama. Pilgrims offer milk, flowers, and sweets at the Mukharavind as a symbol of love and devotion. The temple is a vibrant spiritual spot, attracting thousands of visitors daily.

Parikrama of Govardhan Parvat (7 Kosh)

The 7 Kosh Govardhan Parikrama is a sacred 21 km circumambulation around the holy Govardhan hill. Devotees perform this barefoot, chanting Radhe-Radhe and offering respects at many divine places. Important spots on the route include Radha Kund, Shyam Kund, Kusum Sarovar, Jatipura, Poonchri Ka Lotha, and Mukharbind. It is believed that doing this parikrama with faith washes away sins and brings the special blessings of Lord Krishna and Giriraj Maharaj.

Mansi Ganga

Mansi Ganga is a sacred pond with a small temple area, associated with Krishna’s pastimes. Devotees take holy dips here to cleanse their sins and seek blessings. The site is peaceful, surrounded by greenery and spiritual energy. Rituals and prayers are performed daily, making it an essential stop during Govardhan Parikrama.

Jatipura Kadambkuteer

Jatipura

Jatipura, at the base of Govardhan Hill, is the main place where devotees worship Giriraj Ji’s Mukharvind. It is believed that Giriraj Maharaj personally accepts all food offerings here, especially during Annakut Mahotsav. While doing Govardhan Parikrama, stopping at Jatipura for darshan and bhog is considered essential. This makes Jatipura the spiritual heart of Govardhan worship.

Radha Kund & Shyam Kund Temples

These are two sacred kunds with shrines dedicated to Radha and Krishna. Devotees believe that bathing here brings divine blessings and spiritual purification. The area hosts rituals and daily prayers with a serene atmosphere. It is a tranquil place for meditation and devotion.
